Keith Gwynne, BSc, CIP
President & Operations ManagerKeith began his insurance career in 1988. He advanced through a series of Marketing and Management roles with major Canadian insurance companies.
Keith is also a former Commercial Crime instructor at Grant MacEwan for the Insurance Institute of Canada. In 1998 he joined Roberts-McClure as a partner with the founders – Bill & Agnes McClure.
In his leisure time, Keith is an avid traveler with his wife and three sons. He also referee’s hockey and recently earned his glider pilot’s license.
Personal Lines BrokerVern obtained his Broker license 1972 and has a wealth of experience assisting our clients. He has been with our firm since 1999.
Vern enjoys camping, dancing and spending time seeking out bargains at farm auctions.
Sherry Gwynne, BComm, FCIP
Personal Lines UnderwriterSherry is a former Underwriter and Marketing Representative with Wawanesa Mutual. She began her insurance career in 1979.
Sherry’s leisure time focuses on travel, curling and gardening
Don Farries, FCIP
Partner/Commercial BrokerDon spent the first part of his insurance with a large Canadian insurance company where he obtained his Fellowship. In 2003 he joined our firm where his focus is commercial insurance. Don enjoys learning about his clients’ businesses, using his experience and problem solving skills to identify potential risk exposures and offer affordable solutions. Don believes it’s important that each client is part of a consultative process to manage their risk which aids in the development of a program specific to their unique needs.
When not at work Don’s passion is golf, spending time with his family or just sitting back watching a good game on the screen.
Personal Lines UnderwriterHeather was formerly a Personal Lines Underwriter with Canada’s largest insurer. Heather has been with us since 2007, and works behind the scenes underwriting policies.
She is grandmother to 2 wonderful grandchildren. When she is not at work, Heather enjoys gardening, long walks with her dog, cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and listening to music. Live, local bands are her favourite.
Accounts ManagerDeb has been with us since 2002. She has held various roles, initially as a Personal Lines Broker and then progressing into her current position as Accounts Manager.
Deb has a background in Education with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail which is an asset when dealing with client billing inquiries or concerns.
Deb enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, boating and the occasional round of golf.
Donna Lee Genge, CIP
Personal Lines ManagerDonna began her insurance career in 1985 with a regional Alberta insurer. She earned her Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation in 2005. She joined our firm in 2010.
Born in Edmonton, Donna went to Ross Sheppard High School, so if she looks familiar, you know why.
In her leisure time Donna enjoys golf, slo-pitch and curling.
Keegan McLennan, CIP
Partner/Commercial BrokerKeegan grew up in an insurance family with his father (Jim McLennan) and grandfather (Harold McLennan) at Wrigley Insurance. After graduating from the Insurance Program at Grant MacEwan and spending four years at Economical Mutual as a Commercial Underwriter, we were fortunate to convince him to join us in 2012.
Keegan enjoys many sports: hockey, baseball, curling. In his leisure time he enjoys spending time travelling with his family.
Marge Laurie, BEd
Personal Lines BrokerMarge is a Manitoba farm girl with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba where she belonged to the Rifle Club. She taught Secondary School English before obtaining her Broker’s License in 1987. She joined our firm in 2012.
When not assisting her clients, she enjoys reading, picnics and hiking in the mountains surrounding Jasper with her family.
ReceptionistChristina joined our firm in 2014 as our Director of First Impressions. She employs her friendly personality to make sure our clients feel welcome.
In her leisure time Christina is an avid angler.
Personal Lines BrokerTracy was previously employed in the banking sector. In 2012 we convinced her to join our firm where she obtain her broker’s license. She specializes in Personal Lines.
When not at work you will often find her watching her family at a soccer match, hockey game or dance competition.
Commercial Account ManagerShirley began her insurance career in 1977. As a former Marketing Representative with a major Canadian insurer, she is uniquely skilled at representing her clients. She enjoys using her extensive experience in helping our Commercial clients obtain the best coverage and terms.
When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family.
Barb Doucette, FCIP
Personal Lines BrokerBarbara has been with Roberts-McClure since 2012 and has been working in the insurance industry since the early 70’s. She enjoys assisting clients with their insurance needs.
She completed her Chartered Insurance Professional degree in 1982 and won the Insurance Women of Edmonton Award and the W. Leonard Aldridge Award for most deserving student in the Associateship program.
In 2003 Barbara completed her Fellow Chartered Insurance Profession degree, winning the Canadian Insurance Claims Association Northern Alberta award for Top Claims Major Fellow, the Judy Kalynchuk Memorial Award for Top Fellow, and the Robert Fisher Clark Award for top marks in Claims Major in Canada.
Barbara’s leisure time is spent reading and gardening and the light of her life is her granddaughter.

Robin began his insurance career . He joined Roberts-McClure in 2017 as one of our key producers.
Robin is an avid runner and strangely thinks running 55km is fun?

We pledge that we will safeguard your personal information and allow it to be used only for the purpose it was given to us and as required by law.
If we are owned or have an exclusive contract or only have one market or have a loan from an insurer we are insuring you with, we will disclose this to you.
